機構成就 Achievements 2020年初新冠病毒肆虐,本局迅速回應,連結各界夥伴,推出多項抗疫義工服務並製作義工指引及防疫資訊,為長期病患者、長者、低收入家庭等弱勢社群及前線醫護人員送上適切支援。

At the early outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, AVS responded promptly to initiate a variety of resilience-building volunteer services in partnership with different sectors to support the underprivileged like chronically-ill patients, elderly and low-income families and the frontline medical staff.

To enhance the quality of volunteer service, AVS drew up the Hong Kong Volunteer Charter - Practice Reference Guide, and launched a new volunteer management system – Volunteer Hongkong (V-HK) providing an one-stop solution to facilitate citizens to volunteer.

創新計劃 Pioneer Projects 為配合疫下新常態,本局運用線上資源及創新手法,開拓服務發展空間,推出「在家行義」和「快閃」的行義方式,鼓勵義工繼續發揮義務工作精神。培訓服務也運用雲端視訊會議技術、網上影片分享及另類實境遊戲等,為義工界提供適切的知識、資訊和學習機會。
To cope with the new normal during the pandemic, AVS applied online resources and innovative ways to deliver services, and opened up new service opportunities. Volunteers were encouraged to continue services through new formats such as “Volunteering from home” and “Flash mob volunteering”. Volunteer training has gone online by means of video conferencing, interactive videos on social media platform and alternate reality games, providing the volunteer community with timely and necessary knowledge, information and learning opportunities.
